Started to go through some shots from Christmas at my parents home tonight. Here are 3 of my favorites so far.

One of my older brothers and my mom, I didn't realize that my brother in law was in the shot!  Much less eating. Still thought it was funny so decided to post it.

Oh, all of these were shot with the D2x, Sb-800, and new 35 f2.

Wow you have some cute nieces Patrick... Now that brother in law has to have a talking to... How dare he make that picture so great.
  4. Great photos of family gathering.

I agree with Gale, the first one looks a bit yellow to me.

Very interesting bokeh of the Christmas tree in the 2nd one.

And your brother in law in the background, that capture is just great.

Great images, nice capture Patrick. The first one WB was off.
  6. Patrick, I downloaded the first one. The colors were much better viewing in CS2.
  7. Very nice images of a cute family Pat. My favorite is the 2nd one but then your brother-in-law almost swayed me to #3.

Great pix Patrick! And yeah, very cute neices too! You f/5.6ed the second one, eh, the 35's bokeh is pretty nice at wider apertures, but it shows off it's heptagon in the middle. I kind of like it. It's retro, ya know.

I got yelled at for using it as a portrait lens, but you've shown that it can be done, and done well!

  11. Good looking family you got there, Patrick. Nice shots. I like the last one...some guy in the right hand corner is taking a monster bite of pie or something.

Nice captures, Patrick. You have a beautiful family! Nice expression in the brother-in-law's face!
  13. Hey Chris

A beautiful girl like that and you look at the BOKEH?

BTW, Patrick, Nice shots - I'd love to catch my B-in-L in that position.
