Three views of Newport RI's Clairborn Pell Bridge

Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by Harry Lavo, May 20, 2007.

  1. Here are three shots taken recently on a visit to Newport, RI. They represent three different "moods" of Newport's landmark over-bay bridge, named after deceased Senator Claiborn Pell.

The view from Fort Anne on a bright, sunny day:

The view from the harbor on a misty morning:

    NIKON D50    ---    78mm    f/10.0    1/500s

A backlit view from Goat Island Park at twilight:

    NIKON D50    ---    300mm    f/20.0    1/320s    ISO 400

Hope you enjoy the bridge as much as I did. C&C welcome.
