Featured Thunder Bay Harbour Brrrrr.....

Discussion in 'Black and White' started by Bohdan, Dec 7, 2018.

  1. Went out this morning to the marina -21 Centigrade -without the windchill..Could only stay out 15-20 minutes before my gloved fingers and cheeks were starting to burn!

  2. Fabulous. Stay warm, mostly :)

  3. Thanks Louis
Thanks...frequently going back to a warm car helped.

  4. Marvellous and impressive b&w vistas, Bohdan!
    Well worth facing the cold.
(at least from the viewers point of view :) )

Love that second shot! I can't imagine staying out very long in that cold......even with the down parka and heavy photo gloves I bought for Iceland. Although Glenn Nagel kept telling me Chicago was colder than Iceland. I guess Thunder Bay is a LOT colder than Chicago! YIKES!

  6. Thanks Bart ...It was worth it. Thankfully I had a warm car that I could run back to every 15 minutes or so.
Thanks Karen. It was cold...but wait till winter comes:)

  7. We'll wait but we will also expect even better pictures

  8. Both shots are great but #2 is particularly brilliant.
I can't even begin to imagine the temperatures you describe. Brrrr!!

  9. Thank you Dayo for your feedback. Even though it was very cold -compounded by a windchill factor- temperature wise it was not extreme - at least for us here. We've been out hiking in -30 C before. Those kinds of temperatures are not uncommon here in winter,

  10. You picked the right 20 minutes to be out! Great shots, Bohdan. I love the lines and contrasts especially in #2!

  11. Thanks Dossy...
    Thanks Al

  12. Super shots Bob. #2 is excellent!

  13. Thank you Binnur.

  14. Amazing and surreal images! Well done.

  15. Wow Bob, I just saw these. You should print them and hang them on the wall.

  16. Thanks Glenn. I appreciate your kind words.
Thanks Fred. The second one will certainly be printed.

Very nice shots. Can’t imagine that kind of cold.
These are 2 examples of why I love black and white.

  18. Thanks very much Dudley
