    …for fruit. No, it’s not a thorny new variety of grapes – my old Concord grapes just decided to grow into and over a nearby barberry bush. Not a bad idea – the birds aren’t as anxious to go after these grapes.:wink:

    Greg, with our wet weather this year, the grapes are not as sweet as normal, but they are still good. Thanks for looking and commenting.

    Bob,
    There are some of those growing next to the road, not far from the house.
    Quite often my girls stop, after getting off the school bus.
    Sometimes they bring me a few...

    I think they are pretty sweet this year, but I guess my delivery team plays a part in that!

    Roger, I remember visiting the neighbor's grape arbor when I was a kid. Those memories are part of the reason I grow these:smile:.
