Can anyone tell me if it's possible to get to Toroweep Point on the North Rim of Grand Canyon in a regular saloon car ?
I've been twice before but in a rental SUV, but I'd like to know if I rented a standard car whether or not I'd make it or not.
I remember the last part is a bit rough.

    Thanks.

  2. I was there too many years ago to give you good advice. Unless they have graded the road recently I wouldn't want to give it a try.

You could always give it a go and if you have to bail take the dirt road to St George and that would make your trip worthwhile.

    Thanks for the reply.

It's just that I need to know, before I rental my vehicle.
The trouble with renting a SUV, is it's more expensive to rent and refuel.
So if I could get there by regular car, that would be the best option.
I'd be coming from Fredonia, but it's obviously the same road when the roads combine.
