  1. A few samples of Tricolored Heron "portraits" taken at Gatorland in Orlando this past weekend. Hope you enjoy! Comments/critiques welcome!

  2. Very nice Kevin. I have never seen one of these before. Here in the Pacific NW it seems the only herons we have are the GBH and the green heron. I wish I could have seen one of these when we were in Florida last week.
  3. Keving very nice series but that second shot is killer
  4. Kevin,

I agree with Mike: they are all good but the second one is magical, just like the light shining on the bird. :p
  5. Very pretty birds and such nice shots!

I love the mood of the second as well. Well done Kevin.

I see the juvinile tricolors are starting to lose their straw wigs :>))

    Great stuff.

    Keep up the good work..

Will hope for this weekend :::::

The light really makes the second image outstanding.

  8. Thanks everyone! Sorry for taking so long to reply. Changed my email address in my profile and got locked out until I got home.

Gale, you're very observant. Yes, these are the juveniles who are getting out of the nests now. There are still a lot of little ones and even some still with unhatched eggs. Hopefully we're still on for this weekend with Harry and Trish and ?. I'll PM you.
