Tripod Leg crossover

My current field tripod is an Induro CT203 8x carbon fiber 3 section. Once setup I love the thing. It's fairly light, rigid, and is pretty much bulletproof.

That being said the one thing that I don't like about it is when I'm carrying the thing in the field. With a camera mounted and the legs extended over my shoulder the legs cross over themselves making it a challenge to go any sort of distance with it.

My other tripod a Manfrotto 055 has stops on the leg joints that prevent the legs from swinging in that direction but it's quite a bit heavier.

Looking at a few of the higher end brands like RRS, Gitzo, and Promediagear it's tough to tell from the online pictures if the leg joints have stops.

Can anyone with one of those brands confirm whether or not the legs crossover.

This doesn't happen with the legs retracted but with a body and lens mounted I carry it with the legs extended to balance the whole setup.
