Tripping in Time Square

A cliche shot. Normally this shot is done faceing downtown but there was much obstruction at the time. Christmas time in the neon canyon.

maybe cliche but

I like the moving cars. It adds to the feeling of the shot. So, did you set up a tripod? I see it's perhaps not as crowded as it often is there, but I still wonder how you could manage a tripod there!

Thankyou Tom. I did use a tripod. One thing I'd do different if I ever shoot this again is, close down the aperture and go with a several second exposure. May be dificult with lots of people.

Yeah, turning to the cars into a complete blurr might be cool. Let's go back and try again. ;-) I know I'd like to.

Hi Jay. not sure of exact exif the raw file. can't get to the file at this time but would say about f11 at 1.5 or 2sec
