I got this film as a throw-in on a camera purchase from a fellow forumer, so
tried two rolls. I dev'd both together in HC-110E, 10 mins, 23C, with 3-4
inversions q30sec. The Massive Devastation Chart (actually I've gotten good
advice there) says to do 4-5 inversions, but thought this was a little too much.
Well, it is expired over 15 years:

with the Olympus XA2:

and one from the Kodak Signet 35:

and I like this one better from the XA2, cropped square:

BTW, bought two more Signets, for $21 and $25, shipping included.

Any advice on developing this expired film would be appreciated. Thinking about trying Diafine, next. Both rolls were pushed to 800.

Great job with that old film. I still have about ten 4x5 film packs of triX in the freezer. They expired in the '80's. I should dig one of them out and give it a go.

Hey! Not bad for such old film.

Thanks, Chris, you don't see any grain in these, do you? Yeah, me too.

Bill, digging these frames, comps & deep blacks! Like them a lot!

Steve, thanks! I think my little Oly XA2 is gonna have to be my street shooter. Looks like a cell phone or blackberry in the hand and doesn't alert security and/or police.

Thanks, Michael, post some results when you can!
