Trolls In The Lava - Dimmuborgir, Iceland

  1. From Lake Myvatn we took a short ride to Dimmuborgir, Iceland.

    Here you need to understand about Icelandic Trolls:wink: Trolls are giant, and somewhat evil, humanlike beasts that come out at night. If they stay out took long and are struck by sunlight, they are turned to stone! You don't believe me :confused: well then look at these :cool::

    There were miles of trails through this lava flow with strange views at every turn:

    You could see parts of old lava tubes:

    And lots of cracks and sometimes big crevases where the lava cooled:

  3. Okay, I admit it, I never really believed in trolls. But after seeing a face in most every picture you posted, I think I'm beginning to. Hmmmmm!!:wink:
