I do not normally post photos because I am not as good as many of you are, but I figure if I don't start and get critique I won't improve. So here it goes.

My wife and I were trying her new camera (D7000) and together we were taking a few pictures today with it in our backyard. Photos were taken with the nikon 18-200mm VR. I need to try it with my 50mm 1.8

There is a lot to learn and adjust with this camera.

This is one she took.

Looking good, Luis and Mrs. C...!

With practice and experience you two are going to do great...!
Thanks William. I am going to update my D80 and had thoughts on the D800 but I see that with the D7000, I have a bit to learn so I may just learn with "Erica's". Until I decide what to upgrade to myself.

Like em both. Nice color saturation and contrast.

Thank you. Yes, I like the colors too. Hers looked much better than mine IMHO, most likely because she took the photo earlier in the morning and the light was not as harsh as when I took mine.

I love the detail. I have a D7000 too. Hope to get some like that.

Thanks. I know you can and will. Love to see them too.
