Tulips.....

  1. Skagit Tulip Festival. A little known fact, the tulip fields in the Skagit Valley of Washington ship more tulips each year than anywhere else in the world. Here are a few. D2H, 60mm Micro.

Very nice shots. I really like the 2nd and 3rd.

  3. Thanks, Frank. The 3rd one is my favorite. Shooting flowers with a short lens is WAY out of my normal comfort zone, as were the frogs, but it was fun, and a good thing for me to. What is really neat, for me anyway, about the last Tulip (Floating) is that I did not do anything to drop out the stems or background in PS. That is the way I saw it, and I was able to capture it as I saw it. This was a small stand of tulips under a tree with one ray of light coming through for illumination. Surprised the heck out of me when I saw that I had done it "right"
