These Ganders fought like crazy for rights to the island turf on my pond. The loser had to leave in disgrace.
It all started with one bite:
    40400066.
    Then things got serious:
    40400060.
The loser then gets chased off:
    40400064.
    Crash Landing:
    40400063.

Every time I leave out the dang EXIF

someone wants to know about it  It was the X & 200-400(VR On) +TC 1.4, @550mm, ISO 200, A Priority @f8. Shutters varied, but should've been higher, averaging only about 1 /500th. The crash landing shot was only 1/180th Was very late in the day. They were about a 9 iron away (120yds). How do I know this? Well, we often hit our old shag balls onto the island. These are 40% crops.

He was winching from the landing

after getting his *** whipped but good. In the 1st shot, you can see him being picked up by his breast feathers by the defending goose.
