    That is TV's as in Turkey Vultures!

    I was up at Alum Creek State Park and saw a TV in the parking lot. I drove nearby and was shooting this from the car out the drivers side window:

    when I heard something on the passenger side, landing on an embankment right by the car... wound down the passenger window and shot through the car:

    Do mother TVs think their young are cute? Nice captures out the window, that ain't easy!

    Hideous things, aren't they? Great captures though. I don't think I've seen them with such bright red heads. The ones we have here are rather plain in color.

    You know what?

    I think that they are beautiful birds in their own right...and when they're soaring, they ain't nothing prettier when you're looking up at them :)
