  1. little cat !

My in-laws have a cat - personally I prefer dogs - but I caught her peering through some bushes this afternoon.

  2. Cool Simon, I like the first shot. Something about the angle of her face.

  3. Neat Simon, I like both, love the color and texture of the photos. What camera/lens, settings an PP did you use?

  4. Lovely cat shots Simon!

  5. Oh my, these are gorgeous shots. I love them both. They would make a nice gift to your inlaws.

  6. Thanks for the kind words.

I shall be printing them out when I've done a bit more PP on them - matte mount, signature, etc - and bought some more photo paper !

For now they've been put through Nikon View/Editor. A bit of WB correction, boosted the contrast, low sharpen and reduced the EV by -0.3.

Taken with a D70 with completely the wrong lens. I was "stalking" dragonflies so had a Sigma 150mm macro lens with a 1.4x teleconvertor on the camera at the time. 1/640 sec at F/4.0.

Didn't get any dragonflies - oh well, maybe next time.
