The nest I visited in Florida had less "action" than in previous years. Many of the trees nearby where the adults liked to perch were gone. The chick was born later in the year than in 2027 or 2018 so there were less "standing in the nest" images. The adults stayed away more often too.
I must confess, too, that I spent less time with the eagles because I kept watching a nearby crane nest hoping the eggs there would hatch.
Anyway here are 2
Adult looking at nest - like the light
Chick sticking its head up - not a good image but one of one a few that I took showing the chick.
