My 105mm was sent overnight. As yet I haven't had a chance to take the lens out of the box, let alone test it on a camera. I may not get a chance until the weekend to try it out.

I decided to check the lens this evening using a Z6 body. Focusing is fine, not lighting fast but fast enough for what I photograph. I like the lock on the lens hood, particularly handy when it’s reversed.
I’ll take it with me tomorrow and if I get the opportunity I’ll take a few snaps.

Here are a couple of quick samples from the 50mm. All handheld on my Z50 without benefit of VR or IBIS.

Here are a couple of pictures of the lens mounted on a Z6:

The tiny lens hood is shown in the last photo.

It's very lightweight, but does have a metal mount.

I tested the 105mm this morning using a Z6. Unfortunately my focusing experience with this combo was not that great. I should've realised the lens will make little difference to the cameras focusing ability on small objects. Other than that, it worked fine, did tend to hunt a bit when getting close to minimum focus distance though.

I'll check out the results this evening.

Well, a certain truck just rumbled down the street and left a certain box on my doorstep. :D Initial impression is that the 50 is very lightweight. No first shots yet as I am still working, but as soon as I’m done I’ll take it for a test run.

Congrats Lyndee for the new lens.

Do you remember the "Alien" movie?
This lens reminds me me of it. When the smaller jaws are coming out of the big ones...  :wideyed:

So take care and enjoy it

Got my nifty Micro fifty today, very nice size and weight. Here is my first close-up snap of my back porch wilted morning glory. So glad it has nine aperture blades - should make it great for everyday snaps as well as macro.
