UFB (Unidentified Flying Bug)

  1. D200 / Nikkor 85 f1.4 AIS / 36mm Kenko tube

    Here's another one I haven't seen before...this one was big...almost 1.5 inches by my estimate. Any clue as to what it is?

  2. Looks like some sort of wasp or hornet - but I can't get an ID yet

    nice shot though :) 
  3. Identified something similar recently. I am pretty sure that this is also a pompilid wasp.

    A spider wasp...thanks Harry. I missed that previous post but after taking a look at Glenn's shot and description, that's what I had in the flowers!
