The snowy egrets finally showed up and I have to assume that the red color on the face is a sign of a breeding season male? The again...we were near a nuke plant!
    A reflective moment...

    A little stoll...

    Shaking the winter cobwebs out...

    A Little Snack...

See what the snack did to me?

    A yellow legs...willet...or something....

    Excellent Jim,

Interesting to see the red on face, where the GWE gets bright green.
  3. I really like your shots with the new camera Jim. The red on the egret face is something new to me but it sure is pretty. Love the last image.

Nice series Jim! Interesting to see the red lores -- the snowys I've seen down here have yellow lores.
  11. Great series, like the reflection too, but number 4 is the clincher. did you get the flip ;-)

The weird thing about these birds was that none of them were flipping?

They were literally stabbing at these little mumichogs and not flipping at all.
  13. Wonderful series Jim, it seems that you've got the perfect combo
