The rooster is launching itself into the air in order to bring its spurs down onto his leg. Matt has been through this before and takes it all in stride. The little rooster figured he'd won the fight and commenced to crow about it.

As for the rabbit, it's a good bunny except when you come near its open cage on her back porch and then it gets a little mean. But if you lay it on its back..

Great shots, Jarrell. I'm like Frank...I don't remember my roosters being so accommodating growing up. 8)

Fun stuff Jarrell. Love the bunny.

We used to have a rooster like that except it was about 3 times the size and all black. Used to have everyone in the place terrorized except my mother. First time it tried the dominance trick on my mum, she took a broom to it. Ever after that it just used to follow her around like a dog while continuing to attack the rest of us (including our two big labradors).

Great stuff, Jarell, and one novelty for me. I have seen foxes and lynxes and other wild cats on leashes but never before a rabbit.
Good shots of the rooster and the rabbit close-up - BTW.

A rabbit on a leash - well that's a first for me!!!
Looks like that rooster doesn't realize how little he is - acts like he's six feet tall! LOL
Love the crowing pic, great colours!

I agree... this Bantam rooster thinks he's as big as an eagle and as tough as a lion. The young man in the picture teases the rooster to get him to attack. It takes very, very little teasing.

If I had to say which image impressed me the most it would be the pretty blonde lady (was that a rabbit she had). Now of course the colors on the rooster were amazing and the sleeping (or hypnotized) bunny were pretty special too. Good job Jarrell.

Gordon, would you believe the camera was in the truck until I looked across the way and saw her coming with a rabbit on a leash.
That'll get the camera outta the truck every time.. :)

I love this rooster shot. Is it with your Sigma 70-200?
