    What is that ?
Obviously not a feral house cat

  2. Really intense expression. Nice capture, Umesh!

  3. Doesn't quite look like a lynx or a bobcat... I'd be curious to know too. Nice catch Umesh.

Looks like a Caracal Cat. They are not native to North America though.

Some ones "pet" get lose or some one got in over their head and just set it free?

  6. I took this picture in DC zoo. I'm not sure what kind of cat it is. :( Sorry

I will be interested to know if any cat expert is here.

I post a lot of zoo shots and don't always say they are captive but I don't call them wild either, FYI, I thought you photographed a wild cat

  9. It was inside zoo but not captive inside a small enclosure. Like you said its not a wild but not captive as well. They have a big area for these cats to roam around.

  10. Hmm good point. The only reason I titled wild cat is because it was caught in wild cat section of the zoo and I didn't know the exact breed or type of this cat.

Just curious, how would you title this kind of shot just for my future posts.

Thanks for taking time to correct me.
