Here's the link: http://labs.adobe.com/

"One big change is the new flexibility of the spot removal tool. Now people can change the shape of the spot removal brush, so that it isn’t just a circle."

"Other great new features include the spot highlighting tool, which points out dust and specks in stark relief, making them much easier to zap with the spot removal tool so they won’t show up and ruin large-scale prints."

"And there’s a new tool called upright that automatically corrects distortion and horizon skewing, which can instantly transform an image from unusable to attractive in a single click."

"Images can now be edited in a preview mode that doesn’t actually require the files to be physically present on the working drive.

I think these are very useful features that will be welcomed and only make LR closer to Photoshop for most needs.

I noticed a couple of new articles about this today then all of a sudden they were pulled. Wonder if the release announcement was a bit premature?

It was premature from techcrunch according to photorumors. Though still I'd anticipate a release around summertime. Wonder what cost will be since LR4 is still fairly new.

I think they should give all the LR4 owners a free upgrade considering all the problems with it. I know I m dreaming but it was a nice dream .:)

^ Yes. Created with the D600 users in mind!

New Cloning/Healing seems to be worth the new version as well.

Ive had a play with it, theres definitely no performance improvements yet, although it is still beta. That being said, I had performance issues with LR4 from the first beta and it never improved so im not holding my breath.
