Urban Garbage Collector

    Taken with D200 + 70-200 while waiting for a sunset. Looks it's eating a piece of wood :)Curved:).

    Not an easy task to find a place for a nice sunset in a city btw...

  3. What a handsome bird, clothed in shades of grey (no white feather hotspots :Crunk:)!

    Love the details in the feathers and the "angles".

    I've never seen one of these around, only the local starlings/blackbirds-gang...
     
  4. You're welcome, Gale. These are indeed some kind of garbage collectors, as they are scavangers.

    Ha! You think! You're right, no white feather hotspots. Instead you get pitch black shadows if it doesn't turn to the light in the correct angle.

    Ok, wasn't aware that they're not so common in your area. They're quite common here, but that may also be due to the fact that a big city leaves a bigger mess behind to be cleaned up by them. :rolleyes:
