Haven't posted a pic in a while. I'm not sure what the military designation is on this helo but thought I'd share it anyway.

    Thanks for looking.

  2. Nice closeup.

Thanks alex. Was on the tarmac with them, about 120ft away.

  4. Not only that, you got a wave from the co-pilot. Good shot Patrick.

    Nice composition :)

Either just Bell 206 or OH-58 Kiowa, IIRC

    Thanks gordon!

They are doing great Gale. Thanks for asking.

    Hugs and love,

    Thanks andy for looking.

I thought Kiowa but I thought those were only Kiowa's if they were retrofitted with all the electronics and laser rangefinders.

Thanks, its some 206 style chopper anyway. I appreciate you looking.

    Thanks Phil!

Nice one! That's an OH-58 probably a D model. The OH-58 was designated the Kiowa many years ago. The Army chose indian names for the aircraft. The UH-1 is the Iroqouis even though most people call it a huey. It's been alot of years since I've been around them. Thanks for posting.
