US Club Soccer National Cup VIII

  1. I had the opportunity to shoot this event which was held in Virginia Beach this past weekend. The weather was super hot and humid but the play and facilities made it all worthwhile. All images made with the D300, 300 f/2.8 and the 1.4x tele.....

    No. 1 Keep your eye on the ball


    No. 2- Saved?


    No. 3- Keeping the ball in play


    No. 4- Keep your eye on the ball, pt 2


    No. 5 - Close but no cigar


    No. 6- The step over queen


    No. 7- Cross into the box


    No. 8 - Goalie converts the final penalty kick to seal the victory and take home the hardware

    Brooks, these are very nice. So sharp and great color! Great timing on number 2. What makes this shot is your being so low yourself. Very well done.

  4. Amazing shots Brooks! i would love to shoot something like this sometime haha. Then again id also love to have a 300mm f/2.8 with a 1.4 tele :tongue:

    Wow, they're impressive...I love the way you caught the intensity of the players and have them looking at the ball.
