Using a D100 and Nikon Capture to shoot direct to computer

    can you tethered shoot with the D100-from the camera using a firewire cable? I don't see any place to plug in the cable and was wondering if something else is needed?

    The D100 only has a USB connector. It does not support FireWire.

    Under the rubber cover on the left side (as seen from the back). It's one of the small USB sockets.

    And it's the s l o w USB1.1 protocol, so don't expect anything to happen fast. I've done this at a dog show, and decided just to swap cards for the next show.
