Does anyone have any tips on using this lens for panoramic work? Maybe my Googling skills are a little off today, but I'm having trouble finding any how-tos or tutorials on how to do this.

Bill - I see tons of examples of people adapting the 10.5mm to Canon cameras and using it for panoramic work. It's been tough finding workflows though.

Capture NX2 (perhaps NX1 also) has a function to straighten out the distortion with that lens. From NX2's help file:

The Fisheye Lens tool is only displayed when the active image was shot with either the AF DX Fisheye-Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8G ED or AF Fisheye-Nikkor 16mm f/2.8D lenses. This feature enables you to modify an image taken with a compatible fisheye lens to make that image appear to have been taken with a wide-angle rectilinear lens.
However, since you have to adjust the distortion settings manually using it, it may take a while to get it 'just right' to match the other photos.

I would probably then use a stitching program to stitch the exported jpg's together. I'd imagine you'd have to repeat the process multiple times until you're satisfied.
