Beautiful photos of a great ship. It was stored for many years at the Naval moth ball fleet in Suisun Bay near Oakland. When it was time to move it they offered it to San Francisco. The city did not want it as it represented something for war. So LA took it. If they had not done this it would have become razor blades. Beautiful restoration done to this ship.
