Funny thing about this one: The ship is not a Carrier, but is a Amphib. They had to have the F-18 do fly-by's, as if it would/could land, but not actually land. Kind of neat.

Great stuff, Devo! I love to see the squids in action. The FAGs are probably flying practice CCA's so the guys and equipment down in CATCC can get certified/calibrated. Keep on posting!

We actually just installed a new ATC system on the ship, so not only did the flight deck have to get certified, but the controllers had to get used to the new system / certified as well.

Yeah, I used to do a lot of that radar calibration stuff back when I was in the Navy. Brings back memories. :smile:
