V2 on Nikon 800mm & 1.25 TC

I really like this set up for birds that are far away. This image was of an eagle nest that was about 140 yards away.

Impressive. Now I want to see a flying bird shot at this distance.

Seems awful soft to me. But that's been my experience with the V1 and V2 with distant subjects, regardless of the lens used.
