Viera birds and otters

I had a very good day at Viera yesterday. I saw many things and managed a few photos.

1st thing I see is a bald eagle on the stick.

Next thing I see is the otters, mother and pup. They came out and took a dirt bath on the road. The pup is so cute! His/her nose has some pink in it. He/She should be easily identifiable. I hope she/he makes it!

The pup bit his Moms tail and she dragged him off down to the water. It was so funny!

This Gbh is from the most recent nests at Viera. This may well be his very first catch! :biggrin: He was plunging into the water at everything.

This GBH had his feathers full with this pair of red-winged blackbirds. Apparently he had ventured too close to their nest.

Nice series Jessie. You are lucky to shoot those otters. they are hard to find when I am there. Hope my luck changes.
