    Photos taken of old Navy Yard in south Philadelphia from aircraft on approach to Philadelphia International Airport from Florida. Nikon D70s, 18-70mm lens, ISO 400, Auto white balance, Program mode.

  3. Those were not taken from a SouthWest jet, I can tell you that!:biggrin:
    I hate the dingy windows on most commercial jets...so much beauty to shoot.
    Nice light and colors. Is that the 'boneyard' where they take great old ships to spend a lonely retirement?

    These were taken from a USAIR jet. Yes, it is where the Navy sends their old obsolete ships to be diamantled. I'm not sure what they do with them, but someone once told me they were used to make "razor blades." LOL
