View of 1000 Peaks 340 Degree Panorama

Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by Markb, Mar 25, 2007.

  1. We just got back from our annual ski trip to Panorama BC, and while there, I had an opportunity to shoot a bit from the top of the mountain. This is a partial view from the summit, about 340 degree's, handheld with a D200, 12-24 Tokina.

Landscape is not my strong suit, but I'm working on it.

    original.

I like it nice contrast and the Canadian flag is a good touch

  3. I really like this one, Mark. WELL DONE!!! Yes, that red really stands out against the wonderful blue sky.

You did an excellent job on this pano!

  4. Thank you. It was one of the western blue skies that make your eye's hurt.

I also have a few after I started down View of 1000 Peaks. I was carrying all my gear on my back for the last three days. Despite the relative warmth, I quickly got used to.

After I get some more house painting done, I'll process and post a few more.

Nicely done. I love how the Canadian flag is framed by the only clouds in the image. Mike
