Stands for "Vermont Institute of Natural Science"
It's a Raptor center in Quechee, VT.
I took my daughter there today. I feel almost like
I don't want to post these as the Bald Eagle was
about six feet away, in a cage. But it was fun anyway.

  2. beautiful shots Roger., very well done... nothing wrong with posting images of captive birds, I like the fact that you identified that these were taken at a zoo,.. and they are excellent shots.
  3. Beautiful shots love the intensity in #1.

Thanks Warren. I'm happy with them, I guess, but I feel it was like shooting fish in a pail.

Raymond!, I followed the link in your signature to your wildlife
Photos. Simply awesome. you have some amazing shots! I'd love to spend a year, or two with you...

Nice Shots Roger. Did you have any problems bringing in your camera? I thought I heard someplace that they didn't allow pro gear because people were selling photos they took there. I have been meaning to take the kids there for a while now.

    Hey, Patrick.
Couldn't make it last night, Charlotte didn't get home till after 10:00!
Just me an Margaret at VINS. Very cool place for kids!

There were plenty of others there with DSLR's.
    I had my D1x and 80-200 2.8, never got a second look!
