Football is starting up, so I thought I would post this pic. Before the Auburn football games they release Tiger (the eagle) from the upper deck. Tiger then circles inside the stadium and lands on one of the trainers at center field. Its pretty cool. This was taken a couple of years ago with my N80 and 70-300D. It was pretty much a lucky shot. And on a side note - I was pretty disappointed in the pic when I got it back from being developed. The eagle was pretty much just a brown blob with a yellow beak. I was amazed after I scanned it and played around with levels at how much detail was in the feathers. I've been skeptical of film developers ever since. "War Eagle" is more of a battle cry. I guess eagles are cheaper and easier to get than tigers, so we have an eagle. The eagle's name is Tiger. Confused yet? We really love it when ESPN calls us the Auburn "War Eagles"
