This was taken in Jerusalem.
Steve, this is an absolutely marvelous shot. The play of light on the stonework is just about damn near perfect and the pose of the man and child in mid-step adds to the distinct balance of the photo.
This is excellent.
Thanks Rick, I was lucky to be at the right place at the right time.
great shot steve, i like the composition and that you can still see detail in the stonework is spot on. great job.
Great composition and I really like the lighting...
Wonderful photo. Well composed and beautifully exposed.
Thank you all for your comments. Jerusalem was a photographers paradise. I hope to get back there this coming year.
Let me repeat what the others have already said, a tryly wonderful picture. Did you employ any added lighting, or was this all natual lighting? What did you meter off of?
Thank you Steve and Michael.
The shot was taken with natural light.
My camera was set to matrix metering and my focas point was between the father and daughter.
