  1. Very nice set, Justin.

I'm glad you're not showing us the deep fried scorpions.

Was there in August of 2006 and had a great time wondering and sampling the items. If in Beijing it is truly a cool place to check out. Thanks for sharing Justin!

  3. Thanks, Phil. The deep fried silk worms were about all I had the courage to sample this time.

  4. Glad you enjoyed the shots, Jbing.

    Love these REAL LIFE shots!

  6. Hey thanks, GastheerG. I would have liked more depth of field for the shots, but hey, it was dark and I had to open the lens up pretty wide.

  7. A great series that makes me feel as though I were there. Thanks Justin

  8. Thanks, Dave. Glad you liked 'em.

Nice to hear from you again Justin. That second photo is by far my favourite , it just has that little something

  11. I was read somewhere that China has a "famine" diet...meaning they'll eat anything. You should see what the people in the south eat!

  12. I agree with you Julien. It's my favorite as well.

  13. Yummy, yummy! Street food is the best.

    Nice series, makes me hungry.

    Cheers

  14. Great series of shots Justin. Brings back fond memories of our trip last Dec. Any plans of heading home any time soon?

  15. Those are great, which lens did you use for them?

  16. Most of the food there is unedible. But there's some decent gems (like the mutton kebabs) that make up for all the weird stuff for sale.

  17. Thanks, Peter. Not sure when I'll make it home. Plans called for this summer sometime but, as usual, it looks like I won't be able to make it. Thanks for checking out the pictures!

  18. Thanks, Dude. Just using the 18-70.

Great series Justin. Very well done, love the DOF on the #1 and #3. You gave me some very good ideas and another way to look to the local markets here in Bangkok.

    Many thanks
