This software was released today and it has the same problem as the last time it had a major upgrade. It doesn't save the settings in my previous ACR. An unimportant setting that changed is the display of the film strip. A very important setting that changed is my configuration of the output file, such as a JPEG. Fortunately, I looked for the possibility that it would be changed because I remembered it happened the last time there was a major change. I will give Adobe credit for maintaining my configuration, so I simply had to open a dropdown menu and load it.

When I update ACR, there is a pop up screen asking if I want to import settings from the prior version. For me, it is checked by default.

The same was true for me. And for the second major change to the program in a row, that instruction was ignored.
