Washed out colors in CS2 web save

Just got my CS2 running on my new computer. Saved the pic for the web, alt/shift/ctrl/s, the colors suddenly looked washed out!! Maybe it had been doing this all along, but am only seeing it on this new monitor, which by the way is awesome. Any ideas about this??

You are likely changing color spaces. I am assuming that you are going from RAW to CS2. Make sure that when opening from ACR you have your color space set to sRGB.

When you Save For Web do you check the ICC Profile box in the Preset section of the Save For Web window?

Thanks, I did leave the new setup on RGB, knew better, but it is best for the printers, firured I would just start converting to srgb when I send the pics out.
