I wanted to share some final pictures of our trip to Washington,DC. The natural history museum was full of interesting dead things. I especially like the fossil of the exhausted-looking animal on top of the rocks. It's funny how is pose makes him seem tired...he's dead on his feet... Of course the first two are not dead, I liked the praire dog for his cooperation and the tiger for his attention. All the photos except the first two and last two were shot with the D80 and Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 EX on a monopod. The zoo and WW II memorial with the view of Lincoln's memorial were shot with the 18-200mm VR.
