We came across a lot of spiders while exploring in FL. Some were on boardwalks and others were in wooded areas with paths.

Great spider images! The first two are of a banana spider or golden silk orb weaver (Trichonephila clavipes). We have them in southeastern NC, too. They are harmless, despite their appearance (and size!) but the webs are a nuisance when walking through the forest...
