Share Water Droplet Photography

Since I couldn't find a thread on this genre of photography, I'm starting one...

I know there are others on the forum who have done this - please jump in.

Please add any of your images and/or thoughts about the process. I will do the same.

Before yesterday, I had never actually tried this in a controlled environment (only the occasional opportunistic photo). Here are two cropped, but otherwise SOOC results:

This was an 85mm f/1.4D mounted to a Z6 via FTZ and an 11mm Meike extension tube. Lighting is a purple gelled speedlight camera left and a yellow gelled speedlight camera right. Manual shutter release with a straight cable (no timing or delay device). Pure water, no additives. Droplets were simply released from a drinking straw.
