Water Hyacinth

Discussion in 'Macro, Flowers, Insects, and Greenery' started by jryoung1947, Jul 22, 2008.

  1. Here is a fun project you can easily try. I have a ~ 3 inch deep bird bath. I bought a few of these water hyacinths and they are just beautiful. First blooms today! They are in partial shade in my yard. No chemicals just water. I rotate them on occasion.

What a lovely flower, I love the way the colour gradually changes from lilac to blue and eventually to yellow.
