Hi Y'all, I hooked up with two folks from the wildlife forum I moderate and had a fine time. While shooting I went over my 40,000th shot mark for the year. I figure if I take enough shots by the law of average I have to come up with a few keepers. a tri-color chick taken with the D2X and the 70-200mm F/2.8 and a 1.4 TC a snowy egret chick taken with the D200 and 300mm F/4 lens and a 1.7 TC Wood storks making enlargements to the family room taken with the D2X and the 70-200mm 2.8 lens and a 1.4 TC The "happy" wood stork couple, if you look carefully below them you can see a chick popping its head up. Taken with the D200 and the 300mm F/4 lens and a 1.7 TC a trio of tri-color chicks making their plans for world domination. Taken with the D2X and the 70-200mm 2.8 lens and a 1.4 TC Its always a sad day for the parents when the chicks can follow them outside the nest. here a parent snowy egret is waylaid by its chicks on the railing of the boardwalk. Taken with the D200 and the 300mm F4 with a 1.7 TC.
