  2. Terrific shots!!!
The green spider must be the reincarnation of Marty Feldman I guess.

    Jukka,

These are fabulous shots! I'm not really a fan of arachnids, but these are really terrific captures! Thanks so much for sharing.

  4. Very lovely, and very funny Jukka! You really have a unique way of presenting your critters that makes them really interesting and adorable!

    Regards,
    Jonathan

Great shots - what on earth are you going to take during the winter? Any ideas yet?

by golly you make them look cute even...

Great since of humor..Much need these days and times.

There was a spider in my bathtub bigger than what Mr. 4 says he was :>)))
    HUGE he was.

He wasn't not green, or cute, or friendly and scared the crap out of me.

    RIP

    Great images.
    thanks

  8. Great spider story, what kind of bug are the last two?

  9. Thank you all!

    >Harry:The green spider must be the reincarnation of Marty Feldman

You´re absolutely right  I wonder what kind of a bug I will be come

    >Leigh: I'm not really a fan of arachnids

Well, what do you other forum members think, should we start to post more cute spider pics here to make Leigh as a fan

    >Patrickh:what on earth are you going to take during the winter? Any ideas yet?

NOOOOO! Don´t talk about the winter :Headset: Well, I haven´t got time to shoot around Helsinki, so I guess that´s what I´ll do... Just ordered a Nikkor 35mm F2.0... Maybe shooting some little birdies(with camera ofcourse) too...

    >Gale:Great since of humor..Much need these days and times.

I`m a huge fan of Gary Larson´s Far Side cartoons and I think his humor has made an indelible influence into my thinking as well as representing of insect shots...

    >Gilles:what kind of bug are the last two?

It´s a small cicada, maybe 1/3 inch long...

    Thanks again!!!

  10. Jukka, these shots are phenomenal! Especially the first 2! His little face looks almost artificial and painted on. No way you'd catch me that close to take those shots.

Some of your compositions are very unique as well for macros! :)
