Went to one of my favorite woods today..

    ..and saw a Great Crested Flycatcher:

    Then went on around the path and snuck up on this wonderful little critter:

    it started to rain so I came home and practiced at my bird feeder...We just started getting chickadees on our feeder, so I had to get one:

    Hey Steve ,,looks like ya are dialing that 300 in ,,,, man ,, wished I could get that close to
    some fawns ,,, everything has been so skittish around here,,,, going to check on that osprey over at Lima Lake today.... bad day though , real cloudy,, great captures ,,,I have been tryin' to get one of them flycatchers ,,, had one out back a while back

    I almost missed them russ, I was just walking by listening for birds and looking up in the air, I looked down, and there they were. This was over at Lawrence Woods over in Kenton. You can google it, just put Lawrence woods, Kenton, Ohio and it will come right up. It gets some traffic but not alot. And people are not allowed off the trail so animals tend to be a little braver. :)
