Critique Were you born with a silver spoon in your mouth?

These aren't silver spoons but it sure was fun "painting" them with light being directed onto them by a large reflector to create the patterns I liked best. The photo doesn't stand up to intense scrutiny because of imperfections in the metal (the cost of each spoon was only about $1), but the technical details work OK when viewed at this relatively small size.

Setup
The tabletop is black poster board. Two small continuous-light lamps on the front left and right were pointing upward toward a large, white reflector positioned directly above the scene.

Focus Stacking
30 focus-bracketed images at Nikon step size 2 were stacked using Helicon Focus default settings.

I love this Mike. Simplistic and modern and the color palette is very restful on the eyes.

I'm pretty sure I was not born with anything in my mouth but I do like spoons, AKA, food shovels!
