Here is a link to a range map:

I am very lucky to live near Portland, Oregon and have a .75 acer wooded lot near a state park with a stream. I have at least four species of salamanders living on my property. My rule is not to remove for images, I always image them where I find them. Just touching an amphibian for a short period of time (say five minutes) can do their systems harm.

These guys are very cute and very, very common on my property.

Tamron 90 & SB800.
