What’s your reward?

I went to Jasper again this weekend. Having had a heart attack almost 2years ago I pushed myself to spend the day doing some hiking. According to my smart watch I walked 12.6 kilometres (about 8 miles) and climbed 37 floors. Some of it was fairly easy some of it was strenuous and breath taking.
My reward for my efforts was, some new to me, breath taking, scenery of Beaver Lake
Rex and Roxi helped by pulling me up some steep grades.

Sometimes the juice is worth the squeeze Bill. It may not seem like it at the time, but once you get to the vantage point, then you realize.

Hiking has been my hobby and motivation these past two years. I see beautiful places, but that lake is incredible! You did a great job capturing it. Thanks for the photographs and story.

Looks like a very worthwhile reward. Beautiful scenery, well photographed.

Sounds like you've fully recovered from the heart attack. Good going!

I'm not quite back to that level of hiking since my recent stroke, but if I had Rex and Roxi to help, I might be.
