I´m laughing in here! It´s so great to see so many Odonata shots pouring in here. I think I´m going to post to the guys in dedicated Odonata forum that if you want to see some Dragons and Damsels you should visit at Nikoncafe...

    One more Flat Wolf shot:

And one C. boltonii for Torben so that he won´t be confuced when visiting in Skåne   (Good luck, Torben!!!)

In my case at least... you and Torben are to blame for the Odonata pictures.
If you hadn't posted such excellent pictures, I probably wouldn't have wanted to try.
  4. I don´t know!

I have always told them a certain joke, but I´m not sure does it work for you as it in finnish... Ok, here it goes:

    Mikä näistä seuraavista on hyönteinen?

    a) Ketunkovetelä
    b) Sudenkorento
    c) Karhunkolöysä

...and the right answer is... drum roll... B!

I try to translate it (although it doesn´t make any sense)

Which one of these following is an incect?

    a) Flobby Fox
    b) Relaxed Wolf
    c) Loose Bear

You see, no sense at all
  5. Yeah I know... there was a couple of years ago a guy called Tim "something" here who posted excellent Odonata shots... he had the same kind of effect on me... Haven´t seen him posting atleast here in macro forum for a long time... also there´s one guy who I really look up posting at Dpreview, Ronnie and you could see his work here (if you already haven´t), and it´s not just his Odonata shots, everything is magic: http://www.pbase.com/ronnie_14187

Beautiful shots Jukka. Thanks for the C. boltonii. Can't wait to get one, soon hopefully.
Tim Z and Ronnie are exactly the two guys that got me started too.
  7. Yep, now that you mentioned "Z" I happen(!) to find his gallery (hopefully he won´t get mad posting it here): http://www.timzphotography.com/

Ronnie is ofcorse in his own league... fantastic... Found one czech guy who has lot of excellent shots too: http://www.martinpustelnik.com/

Hopefully you will see the boltonii... I think you should get a Philemon Arthur & the Dung -album when going to Skåne: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUJxSg4hI8o That´s one weird album... only swedish album I have... wait a minute... I have another album of Swedish origin... That band is called Dungen... what´s wrong with those people?
  8. Funny you should mention Ronnie, i have him in my FAV and was looking there the other day, a very powerful photographer and excellent!
  9. Excellent shots, Jukka, especially the first of the Flat wolf.
  10. Great shots as always Jukka.

  11. Jukka,
You can edit your title by clicking edit on your initial post and then looking for the 'Go Advanced' button, should be lower right IIRC once you are in the edit mode...
    Beautiful Dragons sir!
